Sam GreenwoodFrench record labels Kolkoz and Longway have teamed up for the first of their VA compilations calling on Irish techno producers Tommy Holohan & Casper Hastings. This is not the first time Tommy and Casper have released together as their recent release on Rave Selekts caught the eyes of techno punters all around Europe.
On this VA, Tommy uses a growling acid bassline to caress his track along before implementing old school UK Hardcore breaks and pads for the breakdown. Casper brings his heavy bouncing kick drums into a brilliantly sequenced breakdown of bleeping synths before dropping straight back into his destructive kicks.
Also on this VA features a ravey, distorted track from Dentis, Interferon has produced a hardgroove track full of stabs, whilst Paramod goes full on industrial techno. Division also uses his industrial techniques to deliver a destructive track. HG39 uses an implements uplifting pads with his banging track and Lapse Of Reason closes out the compilation with some out right industrial techno.
