Higher Vision Festival was without a doubt one of the most fun we’ve had at a festival. From the production, sound system and international act bookings, the festival itself receives a well earned five stars from us.
A massive round of applause for the crew behind this totally independent festival! They put this together with no funds or support from any major brands, and it’s very impressive to see that they reached their goal. There was a lot of stand out moments that we will all remember from Higher Vision, but these are the ones that we enjoyed the most.

Ejeca shares his brand new production ‘Dizorn’ on the main stage.
The Belfast heavy-hitter was the headline act for the main stage at Higher Vision and he certainly did not disappoint.
Coming off of his sell out show in District 8 the night prior, Ejeca made his way to Bellurgan Park for a set that was one to remember. Dropping his new track ‘Dizorn’ to a massive amount of festival goers was one of our most stand out moments of the day.

Altern8 dropping classic after classic at the Techno & Cans stage.
Playing tracks likes ‘Bizzare Inc – Playing With Knives’ in a set will always be nostalgic. It was 6:30pm and the king of old school, Altern8 AKA Mark Archer was bringing the heat.
Altern8 is a massive Irish favourite and this statement was backed up by the amount of punters that went to see him perform. It was all topped off by his finishing track, “The Prodigy – Out Of Space”.
Shed Sessions upending our Four/Four Fort.
The Shed Sessions collective provided the perfect vibe that was set for the rest of the day over at our Four/Four Fort. Mark Doyle, Dan Ring and Sean Hanney brought us on a journey through groove, funk and soul which set the tone for others to follow. A fantastic set that was well planned, well thought through and well executed.

Dimitri from Paris’ entire set.
A bucket list moment can be crossed off once you’ve experienced a Dimitri From Paris set. The king of disco brought some classic disco tracks and his world renowned edits with him to Higher Vision. Having Dublin’s own DJ Deece playing before him complimented the set even more as Deece warmed up the crowd perfectly for what was to follow.
This photo does him all the justice in the world when it was taken in the green room of Higher Vision, you can’t get any cooler than that.
Kaily and Dan Stritch dropping Oxia’s ‘Domino’.
Kaily is known for dropping this track in his biggest sets and once again, it went off. Their set was filled with some bass heavy tech-house grooves that sounded exactly what you’d expect on the VOID sound system that was brought in for Higher Vision.
Easily one of the biggest crowd reactions we’ve seen in a long time.
