This Sunday, Mo Cultivation launches Making Moves, a cultural exchange conference at Flux Studios, bringing together creatives from music, visual media, dance, art, and beyond.

“This is not the mainstream. This is not the establishment. This is for the people, by the people,” says Mo Cultivation founder Bekah Molony. “We’ve needed a space like this in Ireland for a long time — somewhere to connect, learn, and celebrate without barriers.”

The day will feature over 25 speakers, hosts, performers, and vendors, with highlights including keynote speaker Ngozi Elobuike, founder of Hi Spirits Wine Club, whose journey from starting a business in a new city to being featured in Forbes and The Irish Times promises to inspire. Panels will tackle everything from launching creative projects and breaking through the noise of personal branding to confronting systemic barriers in Ireland’s cultural landscape.

The day will be a mix of panel talks, live sets, project screenings, and storytelling sessions, alongside dedicated networking opportunities, including a morning drop-in with the Mo Cultivation team for those seeking advice or future collaborations.

Artists and creatives on the bill include Ahmed, With Love, Aisha Bolaji, Bill Osh, Moving Still, Max Zanga, Beediesel, Zeda The Architect, Big Cheeks, Branded Royal, Ibile, and more.

In partnership with local favourite Handsome Burger, ticket holders will also enjoy 25% off meals during the event.

Making Moves takes place Sunday, 17 August 2025, from 11:30am–6:30pm at Flux Studios, 4 Chatham Row, Dublin. Tickets are €15 advance / €18 on the door via mocultivation.com or the link in mocultivation’s bio.
