Aphex Twin has apparently teased an upcoming EP titled ‘Collapse’ with a very confusing press release published by Warp Records on Sunday.

Although nobody can know the details for definite due to the obscure nature of the press release, some fans figure they have it all sussed out. The majority of the text has been altered by the producers logo much like how the producers logo appeared randomly in public in locations like London, Turin and LA.

The press release is mostly absurd wording and to many it hasn’t made any sense, with one of the most legible sentences describing the upcoming EP reading “a series of movements that match the speed and rhythm of cake”. The producer somewhat attempted to premiere the EP last night on Adult Swim during a 5 minute break between shows, but unfortunately the video had to be pulled due to issues with failing the epilepsy test and more.

Most people reckon that the EP will be a 5 track EP based on recurring words and numbers featured in the absurd press release.

01. T69 Interruption
02. First 44. MT 1 t 29 r 2
04. Abundancel O edit [2 R 8, FZ 20 m & a 909]
05. Pthex (bonus track)

Take a look at the press release below:

For anyone who didn’t catch him the last time he played in Dublin, you can get an idea of what happened with this video:
