The long awaited set from Boiler Room’s special at AVA festival in Belfast have finally been uploaded. Just before the event Boiler Room referred to AVA as their favourite place in the world, and judging by these videos, we can see why.
Kicking off the day we saw Belfast promoter Twitch‘s resdient DJ’s set the tone in the greenhouse-like stage outside the huge warehouse at T13. Setting the tone with some nice melodic and deep house, these lads kicked off the day perfectly.
Next up, JC Williams took to the booth with his live set that covered everything from acid to tribal house. JC had the place on wheels as the clouds began to clear in the Titanic Quarter.
Dublin favourite, DJ Deece then stood up to take on the AVA Boiler Room for an hour of the best in house and disco, finishing perfectly with Retro Grade – Moda, resulting in a few emotional reactions from the crowd.
After Deece, came Saoirse. Despite some cheeky punter getting his chopping skills involved, Saoirse still delivered a great set dropping classics like Armand Van Helden’s remix of Professional Widow.
Derry native OR:LA was the next to brave the crazy Belfast crowd with a track selection that wins it for us. You need to listen to this.
The Night Institute bossman and Belfast local, Jordan was the next to grace the decks. This is Boiler Room Belfast in full tilt.
Later on that evening we saw Denis Sulta take on the decks. Sulta is easily one of the most lovable DJs around at the moment and from this set it’s easy to see why. Finishing off with York – On The Beach was the perfect ending.
Closing out on the night was Trance Wax mastermind, Ejeca. For the last hour Ejeca brought the best in classics and his remixes of them. Check out the upcoming Trance Wax releases scattered throughout.
