A facility has opened in Bristol that is the first to allow people to openly test recreational drugs regarding their safety.

The facility was opened this weekend after a number of successful pilot testing facilities at UK festivals last summer. People can anonymously test their recreational drugs there without fear of being prosecuted as the facility has the backing of both police and council authorities in the area.

Not only that but people will be able to also attend drug counselling sessions as well as get more information on the effects and risks of drugs there too thanks to help from drug awareness charity the Loop.

This comes in the wake of news that MDMA is being used in Bristol to treat alcoholism there on a trial basis. You can read more on that here.
