Techno legend Carl Cox is coming to the Republic of Ireland for the first time since 2009. The English DJ last played in Tripod and hasn’t returned since.

Carl Cox is arguably the biggest DJ in the world, having played close to everywhere down through the years including doing numerous seasons in Ibiza as a resident of the sadly missed Space Ibiza.

Carl Cox has also woven a rich tapestry of electronic music in the Republic of Ireland for the last 25 years from Sir Henry’s in Cork with Fish Go Deep, the Ormond Multimedia centre with Tony Walsh, to the Temple Of Sound with Johnny Moy, and Redbox with Robbie Butler along with seminal festival performances at Homelands, Spring Party, Global Gathering and Garden Party.

It has now revealed that Carl Cox is to play a headline show in Co.Westmeath alongside other acts who are yet to be revealed.

This unmissable one-off concert will take place on front-lawn of the historic and iconic Ballinlough Castle, overlooking the lake.

The event will be a celebration of Cox’s record label Intec Digital and will see him perform a 3 hour set and curate the bill of special guests.
