The festival announcements keep rolling in!
Irish electronic music behemoth Life festival has just revealed the main body of its lineup after a previous announcement that Fatboy Slim and Bugzy Malone would be playing along with Adam Beyer and Joseph Capriati who’ll be playing back to back.
This year will see house legend Armand Van Helden make his long awaited return to Ireland, alongside a solid cast of Jeff Mills, Mall Grab, Amelie Lens, Honey Dijon, Fatima Yamaha, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Jax Jones and Sonny Fodera.
The ‘U don’t know me’ producer will be making his first trip to Ireland in 8 years and up until now was one of the most sought after acts to play here across all genres, given his worldwide notoriety.
This will be Lens’ first trip to Ireland after an immensely successful period playing in mainland Europe and beyond, along with releases on labels such as ARTS.
Further hip-hop and grime acts come in the shape of Irish heroes Mango X Mathman and Versatile.
In terms of local Irish talent, Chaz & Shee represent Limerick on the lineup, with Refuge DJs flying the flag for Galway and Waterford’s own Republik DJs there too. Belfast’s Jordan along with Boots & Kats are both included too after busy spells for both acts since last year’s festival season.
Life has long been one of Ireland’s main institutions when it comes to electronic music festivals, and it’s fair to say that the Mullingar-held gathering can once again hold it’s own with all the other major festivals, with both Fatboy Slim and Armand Van Helden at the helm of another star studded lineup.
