Monnom Black label head Dax J is releasing his debut album ‘Offending Public Morality’ tomorrow via his own label, making it the second LP on the imprint after Thomas P. Heckmann’s ‘Body Music’, which was released earlier in March.

The UK native is well known to have roots in the drum n’bass and jungle scene, despite becoming one of the most well known faces in techno over the course of the past few years. When he announced the album, he stressed that it would hark back to his origins and his brand new track ‘1001 Amen Nights’ definitely does just that. After previewing a brand new track ‘Looking for Tina’ yesterday along with a video via his Facebook page.

Dax will also make his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut this Saturday to accompany the album’s release too.

Kicking off with a quirky skit between a young man and an impatient neighbor, the track delves right into a massive jungle kick and doesn’t necessarily hold back from then on in, showcasing looming basslines and more as the track develops. Despite the fact that it’s quite a short track it’s a welcome warm up for what’s bound to be one of the biggest techno albums we’re going to see this year.
