Galway based collective Basement Project have announced a massive local lineup for a very special indoor and outdoor all day event they’ll be throwing in the city’s boat club on St. Patrick’s Day. Check out the video below.
Myler and Casper Hastings headline the event with a very special jungle set that will take place in the main indoor stage. For any of you who may have missed it, Myler recorded a full jungle set for the DSNT podcast, check it out below to see what’s in store.
Casper Hastings has really risen to prominence as one of the techno forces to be reckoned with on the island, with two tracks on the initial Rave Selekts release, as well as shows in Hangar and Fuinneamh festival, along with sets across Europe too.
Also on the lineup is Cork native and Gash Collective resident Aoife O’Neill, who’ll be playing a bass and techno set, as well as Galway DJs Paddy Hogan and Cóilí Collins who’ll be teaming up for an acid house set.
Anti Social Acid Club will maintain the heavy techno vibes inside, along with Basement Project DJs and a variety of other local talent, inside and outside.
Basement Project are one of the most unique collectives in the country at the moment, throwing very intimate parties with some of the best unearthed talent across a very wide spectrum of sounds.
Their spiritual home of Áras na nGael recently closed its doors to electronic music, which forced the collective to throw a host of going away parties that featured Jamie Behan, Maedbh O’Connor, VSN and Lab Works.
Prior to that, they hosted a massive Scrobarnach party there headlined by Neil Landstrumm and DeFeKT back when the festival was unfortunately cancelled.
Tickets go on sale for their St. Patrick’s Day event on Thursday, more details are sure to be announced soon.
