This morning Dekmantel festival posted an innocuous video to their Facebook page.

The five minute video which is shot from a drone’s point of view over an alien landscape sees a robot narrating the entire lineup, with no writing whatsoever, making it somewhat difficult to hold onto each act, especially when it’s a festival the size of Dekmantel.

Here’s the guts of the lineup right here for you so you won’t have to sit beside your laptop with pen and paper as if your friend is reading you out their phone number over the home phone circa 2002.

The announcement goes something like this:

  • Helena Hauff
  • Objekt
  • Thundercat
  • Shackleton
  • Lena Willekins
  • Tangerine Dream
  • DJ Stingray
  • Palms Trax

  • Silent Servant
  • Voiski
  • Regis

  • DVS1
  • DJ Bone
  • Oscar Mulero
  • Dekmantel Soundsystem
  • Mariel Ito
  • Veronika Vasicka
  • Jamie XX
  • Luke Slater
  • Steffi

Of course, this isn’t every single name listed over the entire 5 minute spell, but that’s the guts of everyone that’ll be playing. If you have a spare few minutes, then you can watch the full thing on their Facebook.

Dekmantel is held at the start of August and there’ll be more info about tickets in the near future.

Last year’s festival had multiple different aspects including a greenhouse stage as well as a Grolsch-sponsored selectors stage which seen DJs like Nina Kravis and Marcel Dettmann play alternate cuts to what they’re known for.

Of course, we all too know Dekmantel for its Boiler Room stage, with memorable sets coming from acts from all genres including Floorplan, Peggy Gou and loads more.

Not only is this lineup thorough and very exciting, but it’s also very exciting to see which stage each act will be assigned to.
