Tullamore festival Castlepalooza has announced some of its upcoming lineup and like plenty of Irish music festivals in recent years, it has a strong emphasis on electronic music with Dutch house legends Detroit Swindle flying the flag atop the lineup.

Space Dimension Controller (Who filled in for the Dutch duo in Electric in Galway last week after a last minute cancellation) is also on the bill, along with New Jackson and rising house and disco stars Boots & Kats and Mix & Fairbanks.

Despite the strong lineup of electronic acts and DJs, the festival has still maintained its acoustic and indie element, with All Tvvins, Ships and I Draw Slow all taking up spots on the lineup. Not only that but their comedy stage will feature mainstays in the Irish game like Karl Spain and Eric Lalor, as well as the Rubberbandits; with Blindboy’s portrait being the latest to join Donald Trump on the outside of Hangar last weekend.

If you can’t wait that long to see the two Dutch maestros and were unlucky enough to have missed out in Galway too, they will be playing for Pygmalion’s 9th birthday midway through March, along with longstanding Pyg resident Colin Perkins.

Castlepalooza takes place from the 3rd until the 5th of August on the grounds of Charleville castle and tickets are on sale right now, you can get your hands on them here.
