One thing that has been in shortage for years in Dublin is good quality record stores.

While I’d consider the popularity of vinyl to be rising once again, a city with a population of  one million people is left with only a couple of record shops to choose from.

Blackwax Records, founded by local DJ/vinyl enthusiast Willo Healy, is set to open it’s doors tomorrow at 11am, just in time for Christmas.

The store is located in Windsor Arcade on Meath Street, in the heart of Dublin city, and knowing Willo, will supply some of the best music that you can get your hands on.
