It’s been almost 6 months since we said a sad farewell to The Tivoli Theatre, known most recently as District 8. We had some of the best times at that venue, but unfortunately like everything in life, things do have to come to an end [I know, it’s very deep for a Wednesday]
The team behind District 8 have always said it that the Tivoli Theatre closing wouldn’t mean the end of District 8, and from all their recent online posts it’s clear that they are about to announce their brand new venture, which we cannot wait for.
But, before then…
The District 8 crew have just released this excellent video from the very last dance in District 8. The final night itself featured a wealth of international talent, plus some of Irelands finest DJs and producers. The likes of Dave Clarke, Ejeca, Brame & Hamo, DeFeKT, Skream, Sunil Sharpe, Kiasmos all featured, plus a huge array of District 8 regulars.
