We have chosen three artists for you to check out this week.

We cover both DJs and Producers that we think you should most certainly keep an eye on this year.

Glimmerman

Young Dublin man, Glimmerman has made appearances through different alias in the past but it seems he has struck gold with this one. Releasing a debut DUB KID, S.K.A.G CITY EP with his newly formed Thurst collective and label. Taking influence from Vogue, Jersey House, Footwork and Grime, the debut DUB KID,S.K.A.G CITY is phenomenally rich with a mix of each genre. This EP sets a positive tone for the young artists future work that we cannot wait to hear. Have a listen to one of our favourites.

Stones Taro

Japanese artist, Stones Taro is making waves with his unique house, break beat and acid style. His stand out After High EP was released on Scuffed Recordings early this year in January with a blend of house and break beat for some fast hitting club tracks. Japan is often overlooked as a treasure trove of talented artists and Stones Taro is a reason it shouldn’t be overlooked any longer. Check out his track Shoot It from his After High EP below.

LaLa

You don’t get much better Boiler Room opening sets than this one. Scottish based DJ and Fly Club resident LaLa, has been building an impressive collection of gigs in top quality clubs all around the UK and most recently she made her Boiler Room debut at Fly Open Air in Edinburgh. Her House and Disco infused sound was perfectly crafted for her Boiler Room debut and continues to do so with impressive gigs in the future.
