Long Island Sound is a name Irish dance music fans should be very familiar with. The duo have been packing out clubs and festival stages up and down the country for a number of years now. They initially carved out a name for themselves in the Dublin scene with their jazz-infused house tracks, releasing on the likes of Kyoku Records and Roots For Bloom.

The duo have since made the move to Berlin, where they’ve picked up gigs at clubs like IPSE and Watergate, playing alongside the likes of Dan Shake, Leo Pol, Jeremy Underground and Black Loops to name but a few.

Since the change, Timmy and Rob have taken their production skills up to a whole new level and it’s evident that their sound and style has evolved with it.

This mix sees them switch out the jazzy house for deeper/darker tones and melodies which are guaranteed to take you on a journey from start to finish.

They’ve even included some unreleased tracks of their own for our listening pleasure, they kept tight lipped about the tracks but did mention that they had a couple of records locked in for release this year.

The lads have been going from strength to strength with their reputation continuing to grow both here and abroad. We’re excited to see what’s next for the duo, but in the mean time… Enjoy the mix.
