Bedrock Record’s label boss John Digweed has announced his latest project from the ‘live in’ series, with this edition of the mix series taking place live in Tokyo.
The landmark tenth of instalment of this project is due for release on July 27 and will be available digitally, as a deluxe 3 vinyl package and a limited edition 5 CD boxset, all accompanied with artwork and sleeves created by Malone Design – all featuring 60 original tracks from a massive list of producers including Roman Flugel, Honey Dijon and even Ireland’s very own Mano Le Tough. Taken from the house legends six hour set in Concrete Tokyo in April this year, the mix is literally packed with music from current and classic producers all in the intimate atmospheric surroundings of Concrete Tokyo.
“This time we head to Tokyo and to one of the best underground clubs out there. Contact is an amazing basement club with a low ceiling, minimal lighting and an incredible sound system. This album captures my set from start to finish – from the deep moody opening tracks to the peak time bangers and everything in-between” – John Digweed.
Live in Tokyo is out on July 27, available from Beatport, iTunes and the Bedrock Record’s online store.
You can catch John Digweed playing at Higher Visions Festival on June 30 at Navan Racecourse. Click here to buy tickets.
