Kraftwerk may make for the first electronic act to be inducted into the Rock & Roll hall of fame next year. The German band, widely considered some of the biggest innovators in electronic music, are among the list of nominees to be be inducted next year. 

They’re up against a comprehensive list of Radiohead, Janet Jackson, Roxy Music, Steve Nicks, The Cure, Def Leppard, Devo, LL Cool J, Rufus & Chaka Kahn, MC5, Rage Against The Machine, John Prine, Todd Rundgren and the Zombies.

A few months ago, the Grammy award winning Kraftwerk performed with an astronaut based on the international space station and continually push the boundaries of live performances and innovation.
