Local Selection Mix #22: Aeron

Research’s Shaun Darcy AKA Aeron is the next to step up for our Local Selection mix.

The Dublin DJ has supported the likes of Cleric, FJAAK and Under Black Helmet, as well as playing festivals like Electric Picnic, Life Festival and Boxed Off.

Aeron has explained to us where the inspiration for the mix came from: 

So the mix centers around a weekend out in Germany. The first two tracks are the nerves as you approach and descend into the club, not knowing if you’ll get in as you approach, what lies ahead just after you get in. 
 
You get in, have a buzz and pick up something extra on the dance floor. Around Gemini Voice Archive the first waves kick in. After that you’re in and out other substances are added between then and Setoac Mass. You can decide what’s affecting you. Maybe it’s just the music.
 
As Passive comes in you become aware, you’re back to the dance floor. 
 
Stephan Vincent Elephant’s Foot and it’s time to make the journey to the next club. This movement always has a a feeling of space travel to it. You arrive around S-File (Mark Broom)
 
At the Scream you make your journey to the final club destination, Berghain Sunday evening. 
 
Cari Lakebusch Motions of Energy and you’re making the move back to an apartment too see out the end of the weekend. What happens there you can decide.”
