As well as being a talented DJ & producer, OPTMST is also the brains behind Belfast-based label ‘Born Sleepy‘, an imprint with a passion for showcasing emerging artists.
Born Sleepy’s debut compilation release, Waves In Motion, was released last year on digital and CD formats and featured music from many of Ireland’s finest emerging talents, such as Brien, Hank LW, r.kitt, Kessler and Fourth Mind.
Fascinated by the trance inducing, hypnotising inspiration that is a staple in all great electronica, Optmst is carving out his own idiosyncratic lane in a sea of the same.
We were delighted to have on board for this mix which explores the more melodic and rhythmic side of breakbeat & electro and much more… It even includes some unreleased heat from the man himself.
