London Warehouse Events announced today via a statement on their Facebook page that they will no longer run electronic music-orientated events within the walls of Printworks.

The promoters will run a total of 37 shows within the venue once 2017 comes to a close; the last being a new year’s day party with a star studded cast of Mumdance, Slippmatt, DJ Zinc, Special Request, Commodo and more.

They also stated that Printworks would continue to host its own events throughout 2018, and that the coming year would see LWE host more events including elrow town.

2017 was Printworks’ inaugural year and seen a star studded cast play within the surroundings of one of London’s most unique spaces. British Murder Boys, Patrice Baumel, Obscure Shape, Jamie Jones, Latmun, Tale of Us, Shadow Child and James Ruskin were but a few names that played there in November alone, with Ben Klock’s PHOTON event debuting there too.

Other notable events this year included RAM Records’ 25th anniversary, a March lineup curated by Nina Kravis and an April lineup at the hands of Paul Kalkbrenner.

LWE announced via Facebook:

“After curating issues 001 and 002 at Printworks London, event producers, LWE, have announced they will no longer be holding events or operating the venue and will instead be moving on to new projects in 2018.

Printworks London will continue to throw their own events throughout 2018.

LWE are looking forward to 2018 – with Junction 2, elrow Town, a new outdoor event on the South Coast, Arcadia‘s arrival in London, some amazing shows at Tobacco Dock and a plethora of other exciting projects on the horizon.”
