Adidas have released a brand new Spezial range, SS18, that includes a huge range of items from tracksuits, t-shirts and of course, shoes.

The entire photo shoot for the range took place in Ibiza, which is obviously synonymous with dance music, however in an interview with END., one of the designers of the shoes, Gary Aspden, said the shoes harked back to the second summer of love which took place 30 years ago.

He emphasised the brand’s symbiotic link with rave culture and how many of the pioneers of acid house, which rose to relevance in that era, all wore Adidas.

Most of the shoes from the new range are inspired by older models and even take some of their imperfections from back then and incorporate them into the newer models, despite those errors being ironed out with modern technology.

The first drop from the collection will arrive on the 9th of March and the full haul will be available from the 23rd onwards.
