Thomas Bangalter has once again teamed up with controversial Argentinian film director Gaspar Noé to contribute a new track for the director’s brand new film ‘Climax’, which was recently debuted at the Cannes Film Festival.

The film depicts a group of friends from a residential course on the outskirts of Paris that are at a dance party after a rehearsal. The punch bowl at the gathering gets spiked with an unknown hallucinatory substance and all hell breaks loose, with the film depicting graphic scenes of everything from sex to violence, all while being soundtracked by iconic electronic music tracks such as Daft Punk’s Rollin’ and Scratchin’, Aphex Twin’s Windowlicker and Lil Louis’ French Kiss among other tracks.

The film features some of Bangalter’s previous solo work and a new track entitled ‘Sangria’, which is French for punch. Check out the trailer for the film below.

Bangalter and Noé previously worked together in both 2002 and 2009 when the French producer provided him with material for two of the director’s films.
