Dublin’s Absys Records has announced the closure of its Cope Street shop in Temple Bar. The company has stated that it would reopen its Fairview / Drumcondra, as well as launching a new endeavour in the north of the city.

Dublin-based Absys Records ceased trading at its home in Cope Street, Dublin last Saturday the 27th of January. The shop was aware that the lease was finishing this summer, but this was brought forward unexpectedly by the landlord.

The shop celebrated the closure of its Temple Bar location on the same night as its 15th-anniversary showcase at Wigwam with Dylan Fogarty, CULT, David Oblivion and more.

Absys Records announced its future plans via Instagram: “Within the next two weeks, we are coming back to trade from our studio in Fairview / Drumcondra and in March we start a new adventure in the new spot in North City.”
