Max HeyraudLove Tempo, a music-led cocktail bar located on Thomas Street in Dublin, caught fire yesterday, marking a significant setback for the venue and Dublin’s music culture.
The space, run by two of Dublin’s dance music institutions, Mother Dublin and The Big Romance, is now temporarily closed. While the cause of the fire is still unknown, the venue made a statement saying, “Unfortunately it looks like we will be closed for some time,” but also reassured patrons that they are “relieved that nobody was hurt.”
Firefighters came from Tara Street and Dolphins Barn stations and responded to a blaze just before 17:30 yesterday. No further details on damage or injuries yet.
