Last Sunday, the news began to spread that sadly, another young life had been lost to suicide. Clara Berney, originally from Newbridge, was extremely well known and popular around Dublin, and a regular to the clubbing scene.

Tributes began to quickly pour in for Clara as her friends took to Facebook and other social media outlets to share the fondest memories they had of her.

It wasn’t long before Clara’s childhood friend Niall D’Arcy, also known as DJ Deece announced on Facebook that he would team up with Dublin collective Paradox to play a special gig dedicated especially to her memory, with all proceeds going to Pieta House.

For people who are unfamiliar with the group, Pieta House is a non-profit organisation that deals with suicide prevention and counselling for those bereaved by suicide.

If you would like to head along to the event you can purchase a ticket here.

If you can’t make it to the gig you can donate €2 to Pieta House by texting PIETA to 50300.
