The World Record for highest DJ set ever has been broke over the weekend in Tanzania, East Africa.

George Evelyn aka Nightmares On Wax with a large crew have smashed the record for the World’s Highest DJ set on Mt Kilimanjaro. The location they played at was just below the summit at a height of 5750M / 18865ft.

If you’re looking for a comparison for reference, it’s 5.75 kilometres high!!

17 climbers made their way Stella Point at the top of the mountain, with 15 of the team making their way to the summit over the weekend. This great achievement was made on September 21st, which is recognised as The International Day of Peace.

The climb has raised over £55k so far for Feathers Tale Children’s Village, Tanzania!! The money will be used to build a specialist accommodation facility for 25-50 special needs children & their single mothers which is now nearing completion.
