Eerste Communie co-founder & resident MARRØN touches down in Dublin City on Saturday for his highly anticipated Irish debut for Research, Syncopated Records & OMEN at Wigwam. The Amsterdam native is one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the techno scene within the last decade, the prolific selector combines African beats with techno rhythms to create a unique sonic palette that is primed for relentless dancefloor ecstasy.

Eerste Communie boss MARRØN started his musical evolution with by diving head first into Afro Deep, characterised by its African beats and lacing these grooves with the hard-edged sounds techno. The freedom and diversity of techno drove him to go deep into the underground scene and forge his own identity. This sound contains African groove and a powerful but atmospheric techno sound with which he aims to hypnotise the crowd to stay on the dancefloor for hours.

MARRØN joins three of Dublin’s top purveyors of techno in the capital city for one of the most anticipated techno showcases of the year. Research, Syncopated Records & OMEN have been holding the torch high for techno in Dublin, bringing revered selectors such as Rene Wise, Takaai Itoh, Chlär, Setaoc Mass, and more to various spaces across the city.

Support comes from Dublin’s finest minimalistic techno dealers as Billy Spike Illand & Vlad team up once again for a dizzying loop-driven set across multiple decks, alongside Undivided boss PageOne who opens up proceedings with his tripped-out brand of rolling groove-laced techno rhythms.
