Forbidden Fruit’s first round release of acts was predictably exciting as they revealed an exciting bunch that included electronic giants Bicep, Bonobo, Denis Sulta, Richie Hawtin, Justice, Four Tet, Hunee, Ben UFO and Ross from Friends among a host of other huge acts across hip hop and other genres.
This morning, the festival managed to pull more huge names out of their diverse hat that have come from all sounds and all sorts of different eras in music.
Joining the above in terms of electronic music are the celebrated likes of Stephan Bodzin (Who’ll be playing live), Floating Points (Live also), George Fitzgerald, Tensnake, Idris Elba, Or:la, DJ Seinfeld, Saoirse, Jasper James, Call Super, Kornél Kovacs. Along with the bolstering of dance music acts on the lineup, the June bank holiday festival will also play host to cult favourite rapper Earl Sweatshirt and grime star Novelist, whose new album ‘Novelist Guy’ drops on April 13. Check out the lineup in full below.
Forbidden Fruit holds a well respected reputation as one of the most well rounded festivals in the country which has allowed it to play host to some of the biggest names across all genres on the same lineups and this year will be no different.
