Ireland, at the moment, struggles with many things. Thankfully, there’s often charities there to help the cause as much as possible. As we’ve seen recently, grassroots activists and charities tend to sometimes even be of more genuine help to people struggling with several different issues as opposed to the lack of support and initiative our government sometimes shows.
With that in mind, it’s so important to support your local charities doing good work as much as you can, and these two upcoming charity house and techno events will help you do just that.
Oscillate takes place tonight at Wah Wah Club at The South William in aid of the homelessness crisis. All proceeds will go to The Simon Community. They’ll have a few local DJs playing including Doug Cooney, Sarah Mooney and Maggie Rose – all well known amongst the Dublin club scene and Ireland’s festival circuit. Tickets are available online for €8 with €10 tickets available on the door.
EVEN are throwing a techno for charity night in aid of Focus Ireland and Shoutout with live electronic artists, including Nancy, Qwasi and more. The event is taking place on November 27 at The Underground and boasts almost all live sets from some of the countries best live acts.
