I Hate Models is back once again for his last show in Hangar before the venue’s demise at some point towards the end of the summer, right after being announced for his Awakenings debut this week.

The Frenchman is definitely a crowd favourite in Ireland, with his last show in Hangar with Techno & Cans selling out after one previous there and a closing spot at their stage at Higher Vision festival.

Not only that but his show in the Cellar in Galway with Anti Social Acid Club raised eyebrows worldwide after videos from the set went viral online, right before the release of his ‘State of Control’ EP on Dax J’s Monnom Black last September. Check it out below.

Since then he has released remixes for fellow Frenchman ABSL on Blocaus along with Sunil Sharpe. Not only that, he also remixed for the legendary Depeche Mode. and was placed in the top 100 charting artists for 2017 by Resident Advisor.

He has moved his sound from the relentless techno that he was known for to more electro-styled melodies, still with his pounding kicks and break samples, something that has really pushed him apart from other young French artists making techno that’re gaining traction via YouTube and beyond.

I Hate Models’ next Irish show is at the end of the month when he joins Paula Temple, Sunil Sharpe, Stranger, Altern8 and loads more for DSNT’s 6th birthday party in Queens Student Union in Belfast, for what well could be the largest techno club show to hit the island.

Before then, he will be headlining ‘Possession’; a warehouse rave in Paris, alongside an inordinately fast-paced lineup including Speedy J, Reflec and Paul Birken who’ll be playing live.

Tickets are highly advised after last time’s rammed show, you can join the event and get your hands on some right here.
