There’s a new Daft Punk track doing the rounds (We hope)

The robots are back teasing the world, or so we hope.

Thanks to a group of over eager redditors, a random account on Soundcloud is believed to be hosting a 17 second snippet of a new Daft Punk track.

The tiny snippet definitely does echo a particular Daft Punk sound with the use of vocoders and electro synths, however the lack of any solid evidence does have us questioning the legitimacy of this claim.

With that being said, Aphex Twin famously released tons of tracks via random Soundcloud dumps a few years ago. He and the robots are on par when it comes to their notoriety in terms of sending fans into hysteria with unpredictable moves, so if this was a new Daft Punk track it wouldn’t be too surprising at all either.
