Up to 22,000 people have been evacuated from Tomorrowland’s electronic music festival in Barcelona.

Flames erupted late last night and can be seen tearing through the Tomorrowland’s ‘Unite Stage’ causing the huge crowd to flee and the site completely evacuated.

Firefighters were all rushed to the scene and were able to control the fire which took place in Santa Coloma de Gramenet.

Tomorrowland’s Facebook page released this following statement late last night.

‘Tonight, July 29th 2017, the UNITE Barcelona stage caught fire due to a technical malfunction. Thanks to the professional intervention of the authorities all 22.000 visitors were evacuated safely and without reports of injuries.
