Sam GreenwoodArtaphine is a Dutch outlet that for a long time has focused on videoing some of the best moments from Reaktor Events, Awakenings and plenty of techno’s best parties, with some jaw dropping videos of some of the best techno DJs in the world in their element.
With that in mind it made sense for the outlet to begin their own podcast series and they thought of no one better to kick it off with than Ireland’s brightest techno talent, Tommy Holohan. The mix is as you’d expect from the Dubliner, an hour of smashing techno with drips and helpings of some more ghetto influenced tracks dropping in and out along the way.
Tommy has continued his busy streak of late and has promised that there are a number of high profile EPs on the way in the wake of his last EP on Rave Selekts sub label Bullet Tooth Trax, under his more experimental Krescent alias.
This Friday he will be scoring District Magazine and the Irish Literary Festival’s joint spoken word event in the GPO with an original ambient soundtrack that he has been working on of late.
