While Dublin producer Tommy Holohan may be well known for his endeavors in producing techno and rave tracks, along with being a resident for Techno & Cans, the highly touted young producer is set to show his more creative side for an upcoming poetry showcase in the GPO.

District Magazine are teaming up with the International Literature Festival’s stop in Dublin to showcase some of the younger and newer voices in Irish poetry, including grime star Mango Dassle, Clara Rose Thornton, FYNCH and Red Bull Music Academy’s Lullahush who will be reading Pillowman.

What makes the show even that bit more relevant to a younger audience is that Tommy Holohan will be scoring the poetry showcase with an original ambient production that will play while the poets are reading their work.

Holohan is enjoying a successful period at the moment after just having been announced for Higher Vision alongside fellow Irish star KETTAMA, with a slot at Galway’s Lá Tech festival coming up next week too. On top of all that he got some Rinse FM airtime thanks to Mall Grab and his re-work of a classic Nelly Furtado track.
