Growing up in the 1980/90’s people had no clue how good the music in front of them really was, even to the point where game soundtracks were masterpieces, so we decided to take a look at one of our personal favourites, Sega.
The Sega Genesis or Mega Drive was a 16-bit gaming console that dominated the late 80s and throughout the 90s. Not only was it a revolution in gaming, but for game soundtracks too. This also got somewhat better with the release of the Sega 32X which was 32-bit, but you get the picture.
As we take took a trip down memory lane, we looked at some of our favourite soundtracks from Sega games. Everything from Sonic to Streets Of Rage features below in our top picks.
