Christmas is a usually a time for festive cheer, swallowing selection box after selection box and catching up with old friends in the local whilst being in a perpetual drunken haze for the guts of a fortnight, but this year Kris Kindle has answered all our Christmas prayers and provided a 10 hour rave in Dublin City on Friday December 22nd.

Radiate 001 is said rave, a 600 minute long bring-your-own-beer gathering brought to you by the good folk behind Strato and The Early Shift. According to them the event is “the first in a series of parties with an open and inclusive ethos taking place in venues, locations and spaces that are off the beaten track, overlooked and under-utilised.” With that in mind, it’s no surprise their first event takes place in a decommissioned boiler room a couple of minutes walk from the heart of the city.

Events like this are few and far between in the capital and with Strato’s track record of running high quality after-hours parties this is something we can certainly get behind, especially with it being a fully licensed venue.

Line up on the night consists of:
Bobofunk
Murrin & Gill
Ryan OC b2b Syl Black

Check out the event for full information and for the chance to win three tickets and a tray of cans to imbibe here.

For a BYOB event, tickets are incredibly reasonably priced and start at €15. You can pick up your tickets here
