Boxed Off returns for its fifth year of running, and this year it comes to a new and even bigger venue, Punchestown Racecourse. Home to one of Ireland’s biggest camping festivals, Oxegen which stopped in 2013. We’re very excited to see this years installment so we’ve chosen our must-see acts for the one day festival.
Dax J – District 8 Stage
Dax J returns to Ireland after his last appearance with Techno & Cans in District in 2018. At the forefront the techno scene, Dax J continues to prove his excellence with his stellar productions with his most recent release coming in July that seen him team up with UVB providing a relentless four-track EP. Catch him on the District 8 stage from 20:30 to 22:30.
Tommy Holohan – Index Stage
Originally making his mark on the Irish electronic music scene in recent times, Tommy Holohan is starting to do the same further a field. Playing in some of the most reputable clubs in Europe while packing tents at festivals, Tommy Holohan is a force to reckoned with. The finest selections with the most flawless mixing, his sets showcase his past, present and future greatness. Check out Tommy Holohan close out the Index stage from 22:30 till 00:30
Sputnik One – Index Stage
Just recently announcing his latest EP, ‘MK Ultra’ on London based label, The Untold Stories, the Dublin born artist will show off his eclectic style in selection and intricate productions making him a huge rising talent to keep your eyes on. Featuring at Electric Picnic on the Anachronica stage this year along with various festival and club show appearances, his polishes off festival season with this years Boxed Off. Make sure to catch Sputnik One on the Index Stage from 14:00 till 15:30.
Robert Hood – District 8 Stage
Returning to Ireland after his Circles: Winter edition last October, Robert Hood brings his sound that built his legacy to the Punchestown venue. Owner of the M-Plant label, a label which has provided some of the biggest tracks of the years over its lifetime shows his persistence in creating and releasing top quality music. Be sure to catch Robert Hood on the District 8 stage from 19:00 till 20:30.
Cailín – Index Stage
Cailín continues to making her way to the top with her impressive wide range in selections and clean cut vinyl mixing. Appearing at Irish festivals and club shows all summer, she now does the same in Europe with slots in Berlin club about blanc and ADE festival in Amsterdam. Her distinct techno sound is complimented by her perfect vinyl which we all seen from her Boiler Room set at Higher Vision this year. Get a glimpse of Cailín on the Index stage from 20:00 till 21:30
