The people behind Scrobarnach festival and more have been responsible for a huge amount of some of the most unique parties that have happened in Ireland over the past few years. With that in mind, it’s never massively surprising when they go an extra length in terms of lineups and location when they reveal their upcoming shows, however last night’s big reveal was absolutely jaw dropping.

Lá Tech is an upcoming festival that will be taking place in Galway’s commercial boat club and after a brief announcement that it’d be taking place there on the 5th and 6th of May they released the full lineup last night.

Headlined by a huge combination of Ancient Methods, I Hate Models, Rebekah, Anetha and Tinfoil, this is easily one of the biggest techno lineups that has graced Ireland’s shores in quite a while. It’s  well documented that DSNT in Belfast aren’t shy of bringing over a number of big names in bunches and this is the first time in quite a while that we’ve seen them rivaled south of the border.

Joining the internationals on the bill are the finest local techno acts on the go at the moment in Techno & Cans’ Sam Greenwood, Tommy Holohan and Jake Nolan. Joining them is Jamie Behan, Doug Cooney, Noid the Droid, with Galway’s own Cóilí Collins, Mossy Hynes and Anti Social Acid Club along with Lab Works rounding out the bill.
Such a big lineup, coupled with the usually incredible production that goes into Scrobarnach shows, will no doubt make this an unmissable affair for any eager ravers out there.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9am and there are only 400(!) being allocated for the event, a staggeringly small amount that is going to make this even more special than it already seems. You can join their Facebook event for the festival right here.
