Staff WriterSounds of Swords collective host a funding raising night for ‘Jackie Wilson Friends & Family Cancer Fund’ this November.
The fund raising night will see Boots & Kats, Mix & Fairbanks, Odd Moris and Alex Smyth make up the impressive lineup as 100% of the ticket sales go to the ‘Jackie Wilson Friends & Family Cancer Fund‘. The fundraising night take place on November 28th in the Chalk Venue Swords for what is shaping up to be a very successful night.
Jackie Wilson was diagnosed with a Cancer of an unknown origin just last year, unsuccessful Radiation and Chemotherapy have forced Jackie and her family to look outside of Ireland for more treatment as the cancer has spread to various parts of her body which she has also been treated for.
The current campaign aim is to allow Jackie to receive treatment in a cancer treatment clinic in Hamburg which have high levels of success in treating and eradicating the disease. The funds raised will give “Jackie a stress-less and worry-free treatment program to restore her health.“
