Deep Sea Dweller have announced the launch of their new electro night that is set to take place on Saturday November 26th at Áras na nGael in Galway. Eliza, Jimmy Penguin, Maeve O’Neill and Prun complete the bill for their inaugural party.

Deep Sea Dweller have organised the launch of their first electro party in Galway, where they will look to bring alternative electronic music sounds to the west of Ireland.

They have compiled an experienced lineup that consists of Gash Collective and DDR’s own Eliza, who has garnered support slots for the likes of Jensen Interceptor, Radioactive Man and Bill Converse. Eliza is equipped with a deadly arsenal of electro that fits right in with the Deep Sea Dweller sound and is a delight to listen to.

Jimmy Penguin also joins the bill on the evening, who is one of the co-founders of Community Skratch and is a tireless ambassador for turntablism in Ireland. Releasing over 40 albums since 2007 while providing productions for many more. Although he is best known for his turntablism shows around the globe, where he has performed as a solo act and as a member of the Skratch Lords international DJ ensemble.

Maeve O’Neill joins them on the night, who is an experienced record collector. Possessing a broad musical pallet that ranges from electro to techno, EBM and beyond. Maeve also holds a monthly DDR residency called Cook Street and has played numerous parties of late for Gash Collective, Intrinsic Rhythm, Dublin Modular and more.

Kickstarting the evening is Deep Sea Dweller founder Prun. Building a wealth of experience over the last two decades throwing parties in Galway, Gothenburg and Hanoi where he has built a playing style that is heavily inspired by the likes of Drexciya, Jeff Mills and Aphex Twin. No doubt that this sound will be heavily leaned on during the course of the evening.

You can also find Deep Sea Dweller partaking in a special DDR show on November 25th from 8pm-12am titled Deep Sea Dweller Radio where all the acts performing the following night will be contributing a mix each. With Maeve O’Neill being joined by DJ Big Phil for her set. Buzz.
