Staff WriterDublin based District Magazine is set to team up with Red Bull Music Academy this Thursday as they launch the third issue of their physical magazine which will partner with this year’s Metropolis Festival.
District launched in May 2014 as an online magazine outlet for Irish music and culture, and has since moved on the release a physical copy of the magazine. The magazine titled Future Voices focuses mainly on artist and photo features, with previous features including Mike Skinner, DeFeKT and Ansome.
Issue 3 is set to feature artists such as New Jackson, ELLLL and Kojaque, and will be officially launched in Dublin City Centre club Hangar this Thursday as District team up with Red Bull Music Academy and host a BYOB event in the club’s warehouse.
With Mythill Grim, NUXSENSE and Leo Miyagee already announced District have now released one of their next guest acts, and it’s two for the price of one. DJ Deece and New Jackson will play a very special B2B set this Thursday in Hangar as part of the event. There’s still one more act to be announced and judging by what’s already been revealed we’d assume it can only be huge.
