Festival season has all but been and gone and now its back to business, the club shows up and down the country. Yesterday, the Centre Point team released their Autumn and Winter schedule and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
Since the Centre Point late night rebrand [From The Button Factory], the venue have already welcomed the likes of Laurent Garnier, Mall Grab, Folamour, Partiboi69, Maribou State, Floating Points, Vintage Culture, Romare, and hometown heroes Krystal Klear, Mano Le Tough, Dart and George Feely to the venue, working alongside The club local collectives, crews and artists such as Shed Sessions, Human Error, Le Boom, Mo Cultivation, Soul Jam, Bella Festa, Dublin Digital Radio and many more.
As the club now heads into Season 2, Centre Point will continue where it left off with a top line-up of local and international stars featuring Overmono (Live), Saoirse, Daniel Avery, Franky Wah, HAAi, Barry Can’t Swim, DJ Seinfield, Or:la, Prospa, O’Flynn and Daithí.
There will also be collaborations with one of Europe’s leading electronic music & arts festivals AVA Festival for their Connections series which see club nights taking place simultaneously across Dublin, Belfast and London on the same weekend. Centre Point’s edition will feature Joy Orbison and Síofra. Much loved Dublin disco outfit prYmary colours host the Love Ball with a host of local friends, complete with a catwalk, countless disco balls and pure disco passion. London-based hometown star, Saoirse brings her “trUst” night to Dublin for the first time, and famed cycling Drum & Bass DJ Dom Whiting brings his show to the stage after another cycling parade around the city!
