Trinity College’s DJ Society, ‘DUDJ’ have announced their first online event this year with Tommy Holohan, someone who needs no introduction as one of Ireland’s biggest exports in Techno over the past number of years.

Tommy Holohan has found international success by rising from the most influential club nights in the Dublin Scene such as Hangar’s iconic ‘Techno and Cans’ party, through his own productions on his label ‘Rave Selekts’ and alongside appearances on some of techno’s most relentless labels such as Dax J’s Monnom Black and of course ‘Skull Crushing Techniques Volumes 1 and 2’ on the Berlin based HAVEN. Last year he brought international attention to Navan with his hard hitting Higher Vision Festival Boiler Room set. Pre Pandemic, while tearing up dancefloors internationally in clubs such as Paris’ Rex Club and Berlin’s ://about blank, he was billed for a mammoth Good Friday headline show debuting his Live Set alongside Shampain and EMA, which will now hopefully happen later this year.

The virtual event happening this Thursday at 2:30pm with DUDJ will be comprised of an interview with DUDJ’s Rory O’Neill for the first half, followed by a Q&A with the audience afterwards. Unfortunately, to attend this, you will need to be a Trinity Student and a member of DUDJ as they will be checking on the day! If you are a Trinity Student, I can tell you as alumni not to miss an event like this and for only €2 membership! DUDJ also host year long DJ tutorials and will have tonnes of upcoming virtual events this year and membership perks include discounts in Dublin’s record stores and club nights (when safe!). DUDJ have previously hosted huge Q&A events with heavyweights such as Peggy Gou, Patrick Topping, New Jackson, Nicolas Jaar and many more. Follow them on Instagram to keep updated with all their happenings here.
