Ever since George Feely announced a few weeks back that he’d be releasing music on the legendary Henry Street Music imprint, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the premieres to start rolling out, and sure enough, the first one is here.
Henry Street Music is one of the most iconic labels in House music history and has been behind some of the most influential records of the last 20+ years, seeing massive success with releases from the likes of Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Todd Terry, Marshall Jefferson, Armand Van Helden, JohNick and many more.
The Kiltiernan native will be the first Irish producer to release on the highly-regarded New York label and it’s certainly a career milestone for the young producer who’s tipped for big things.
Luckily for us, the wait is over and the first of the premieres is here via the machine that is Eton Messy.
‘Crash Bandicute’ is a peak-time, disco-infused house groove packed with energy that was made for the dancefloor and will be sure to entertain club-goers to no end for the foreseeable future.
This is the first track from George’s ‘K-Town Funk EP’ which is due out March 22.
