Sam GreenwoodBelfast based tastemakers Plain Sailing are back with a bang this weekend for their first full capacity event in over eighteen months.
Despite setbacks for what was to be their first proper post-lockdown event with Carton Doom and Nikki O the crew have ploughed on; initially with a seated event featuring Brien and local MC Emby in October and now with Planet Euphorique label head D.Tiffany this Saturday, 13th November.
Those with any interest in contemporary dance music will no doubt be familiar with D.Tiffany. Her link-ups with close pals and frequent collaborators Roza Terenzi and CCL have been killer – featuring performances on Boiler Room and HOR amongst others – picking up production and selection plaudits from Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and Mixmag in the process.
Earlier this year D.Tiffany announced what has been regarded as one of the releases of the year; Tapestry of Sound– alongside Roza Terenzi – blurred genre between techno, electro, minimal and prog in a dizzying blend of euphoric energy.
