It’s the place where she cut her teeth as a DJ, producer, and promoter; a city she feels deeply indebted to and is determined to help revive to the heights it once knew. That mission continues on November 1st, when she teams up with Enigmas to host a gig at Factory — a night that promises to remind Waterford of its still-beating heart.
You can sense the hunger in so many collectives who want to rebuild something real here. We’re all trying to spark that feeling again.
The biggest challenge isn’t a lack of passion, it’s a lack of faith. People hesitate to spend €10 or €15 on a local night because they don’t always see the value in it. But those smaller, independent events are where scenes are born. That’s where the next generation of artists, producers, and DJs find their footing.
Moving Enigma to Factory felt like the right next step. It’s a space that gives us the freedom to finally do things properly — the sound, the lighting, the visuals, the atmosphere. It’s everything we need to take what we’ve built and evolve it. We’ll be running 21+ events because we want to create a space that feels intentional- a safe, immersive environment for people who are there purely for the music.
What people don’t realise is how much raw talent lives in Waterford. From house to hard techno, there’s such a broad spectrum here. The only thing missing has been consistent spaces for that talent to grow. That’s what we’re fighting for — to show that this city still has something to say.
Enigma has always been about community. It started as a space where anyone could belong, no matter how big or small their following was. We never wanted to be just another event series; we wanted to create moments that felt honest and connected. The people who come to our nights, the DJs, the dancers..they’re the reason this scene still exists.
Our next night at Factory on November 1st isn’t just another party, it’s a reset. It’s about taking everything we’ve learned over the last few years and building from a more grounded place. We’re not chasing trends. We’re building a journey. A reminder that sometimes the most powerful moments come when you let go and just trust the music.
