Rumours have been circling since the news broke that there was permission being sought for Malahide Castle to host Liam Gallagher, LCD Soundsystem and Gorillaz during the summer of next year.

While it has since been confirmed that Noel Gallagher and LCD Soundsystem will play, the confirmation of Gorillaz playing never surfaced, until now…

The virtual band, fronted by Blur lead singer Damon Albarn, or in cartoon life 2-D, Noodle, Murdoc Niccals and Russel Hobbs haven’t performed in Ireland since 2010 but are now set to take over Malahide Castle on June 9th 2018.

Tickets go on sale next Thursday.
