Sam GreenwoodForbidden Fruit kicks off on the 2nd of June this year and given that that’s right around the corner the festival have announced the stage breakdowns for their eclectic gathering of acts.
The festival for a long time has been one of the most varied ones on the Irish summer circuit, accounting for near equal amounts of electronic music, hip hop and indie, with some of the world’s biggest names across each genre descending on their IMMA location on yearly basis.
This year sees headliners come in the shape of legendary electronic pioneers like Justice, Bonobo, Ritchie Hawtin, Stephan Bodzin, Four Tet and BICEP, with Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples Thundercat and more making up the rest of the lineup.
Given the eclectic nature of the gathering their stage lineups are that bit more important than your average festivals as they loosely dictate what style of music goes where and this year is no different. You can out the three day break down below for yourself.
