With Valentines day tomorrow, and little escape from the clever marketing of the day, we figured the best way to spend your evening, unless tied into romantic plans, is to go out and dance. An act we will always, and have always encouraged.

Promoters up and down the country have put together an impressive list of events for those heading out on the most romantic evening of the year. We decided to put together a list of where you can go to dance tomorrow night.

Dublin:

Irish institute, Techno & Cans, return with another edition of the new ‘All Night Long’ B2B series where founder Sam Greenwood invites a friend / local / act to come and play all night long in the infamous Wigwam basement. You can join the event and grab tickets for just €8 here.

District 8 are back with another massive line up to celebrate Valentines. French techno legend, I Hate Models makes his return to Dublin with a debut show at the new District 8 at Jam Park. Dublin based duo Long Island Sound mark the occaision with a headline show in The Button Factory, courtesy of Sense. Love Island Sound is your answer if you’re looking to catch the duo along with some great local support. You can join the event and grab tickets here.

Front Left is a new garage focussed collective based in Dublin, which are kicking their career off with a Valentines Day bash in Berlin D2, this event see’s a host of irish acts and locals take to the popular venue for a night of garage and ghettotech. Check the event here

‘Smoochie Day’ by Sensory takes over The Grand Social with a massive local line up which includes George Feely, Moduse and Mix & Fairbanks along with even more familiar names. You can join the event and grab tickets here.

If afro house is more to your taste, Kollective take over twenty two with a host of Irish talent providing the soundtrack. Check out the event here.

Waterford:

Jeff Mills makes the journey to waterford thanks to the Republik collective, he takes over Factory for what is guaranteed to be a highlight of the clubbing calendar. Head to the event and grab tickets here

Belfast:

Clouds head to Belfast, where they bring their sharp and heavy sound as well as their monstrous tech set up to The Art Department for a sweaty valentines. Head to the event here.
